Bats & Boos: FFO



This is a Stitch-Along from the Fat Quarter Shop called Bats and Boos. The fabric is 25 count Lugana Vintage Country Mocha.  There was a lot of “unstitching” on this project.  Finally, after 20 hours, this is the result:


Another five hours and I am caught up with what has been released so far. 

The frame I’ve chosen for this project has an eight inch opening.  At this point, the stitching measures three inches square. The next installment is a border that measures nine stitches wide.  I’m thinking of adding an additional border of bats and pumpkins.

 This project was started on 25 Mar 2023.  It is being stitched on 25 count Shamrock Lugana using the called for DMC flosses.  This is the progress after 33 hours of stitching: Finished on 12 Mar 2024 after 53.5 hours of stitching.  Moved to finishing.
