A Year in the Woods

This is a 12 part series.  I’ve already completed the stitching of the first 3: the Fox, the Swans and the Jackrabbit. 

The whole series is being stitched on 25 count Vintage Country Mocha Lugana using the called for DMC threads. I’m using one thread over one. 

The Fox: Started 3 Jan 2922; after 59 hours of stitching, finished on 4 Feb 2022.

The Swans: Started 22 Jan 2022; after 57 hours of stitching, finished on 8 Feb 2022. 

The Jackrabbit: Started on 7 Feb 2022; after 59 hours of stitching, finished on 10 Apr 2022.

The Raccoon: Started on 11 Mar 2022. This is a working in progress. After 52 hours of stitching:

And after 70 hours of stitching, the stitching is complete. 

On to The Ferret:

The Ferret was started on 30 Apr 2022 and after 61.5 hours of stitching, it is almost done.  Finished on 11 Jul 2022.

The 6th release was the Bear. . Haven’t started this one yet. 

Started 20 Oct 2022 and finished stitching on 29 Apr 2023.  After 68.75 hours of stitching, the Bear is done.

The 7th release is the Bald Eagle. 

I started the Bald Eagle on 4 Jun 2022.  So far, I’ve substituted DMC 3865 for B5200.  After 13 hours of stitching:

And after 64 hours of stitching, the Eagle has landed on 28 Jul 2022.

The 8th release is the Barn Owl.
