Bee Tree Blanket

This project was cast-on on 3 Oct 2922.  The yarn is Mayflower Cotton Junior. The color is a dark grey (1442). Using 60 inch size #2 needles, my gauge equals 6 stitches to the inch. 

The pattern calls for 18 stitches in 4 inches or 4.5 stitches in 1 inch.  This would result in a 50” wide blanket. 

At my gauge of 6 stitches to the inch, I cast-on 300 stitches for the body of the blanket and 8 border stitches for a total of 308 stitches cast-on. This would result in a 50 inch wide blanket  

I used a cable cast-on and knit 3 rows before starting Chart 1. After 25.5 hours of knitting:

 This project was started on 25 Mar 2023.  It is being stitched on 25 count Shamrock Lugana using the called for DMC flosses.  This is the progress after 33 hours of stitching: Finished on 12 Mar 2024 after 53.5 hours of stitching.  Moved to finishing.
