The Quilted Witch Banner and Mandala Bat




This project was started on 23 Sep 2023.  It is being stitched on 25 count grey Lugana using the called for DMC flosses.  This design is 176w x 213h.

After 86 hours of stitching:

 

After 88.75 hours of stitching:


After 99.75 hours of stitching:


After 149.75 hours of stitching:


After 105 hours, the cross stitching is complete.


After completing the Quilty Witch design, I decided to add some additional elements to this piece and make it into a banner.  There will be a border around the Quilty Witch. Above the border will be Meloca Designs Mandala Bat. Below the Quilty Witch will be a few rooftops so it looks like the Witch is flying.

Started with 36.5 hours of stitching. This picture is about 2 hours into the 5 hours for this project on 6 May 2025.

The stitching of the Mandala Bat is complete. (48.25 total hours of stitching.

Royal Garden SAL 2023

   This project is designed by Fox and Rabbit from Australia.  This is a year long stitch along.  There is a new addition to the design on the first day of the month. I am stitching my project on a piece of 25 count Vintage Country Mocha Lugana (18” x 18”).  The DMC colors used for January are: 321,550, 699, 760, 975, 995, 3705.  January release: Feb, Mar and Apr: after 137 hours of stitching.
