This project is being stitched on 28 count Wheat Lugana using the called for DMC flosses.   The pattern calls for 2 over 2. However, I didn’t like the result and started over on the 28 count 1 over 1.  For blended colors, I am stitching one color in a half cross and coming back to complete the cross with the second color.

It is being stitched on 25 Count Apricot Lugana using the called for flosses except where noted below.  Floss Substitutions: 451/233 > 3023 The legend for the letter “O” is not as pictured on the pattern cover. After 25 hours of stitching:

 This pattern is by Expressions Fiber Arts.  I’m using Performance Candy Cane in the colorway Ocean.  There are 872 yarns in a skein and I have one skein.  The fiber content is 50% cotton and 50% acrylic.   Section One: 16” ChiaoGoo needle; size: 000 (1.5mm). After 4 hours of knitting:

Started: 4 Aug 2025.  Premier Fruits Yarn in the colorway Watermelon.  235 yds;  1.75 oz/59g; 93% Acrylic, 7% PBT; Dye Lot: 3334; Machine wash, Tumble Dry. Find patterns at: premieryarns.com Pattern Gauge: 7 sts in 1”. My Gauge: 8 sts in 1” on size #1 needles.  CO 32 stitches using Judy’s Magic CO. (16 sts on each needle) K1 rnd through the back loop K 1 rnd Next rnd: k1fb, k to last 2 stitch on the first needle, k1fb, k1. 32+4=36 sts Next rnd: k all stitches. Repeat the above 2 rnds until there are 64 total sts (32 on each needle). CO for the second sock and repeat the above directions.
